SALT LAKE CITY, May 17, 2011 –XMission, Utah's first Internet service provider, is launching its new line of Business Phone Services. Transitioning to XMission allows businesses to replace traditional analog office phone systems, or enhance their existing private branch exchange (PBX) phone system with additional functionality.

"Moving a company's voice system to the Internet increases capabilities while saving them money,” said Pete Ashdown, XMission’s president and founder.

XMission’s Business Phone Services start as low as $39 per-line, per-month with a two-year contract which includes a phone lease. XMission can also provide auto-attendant, work-anywhere options and hunt groups, which automatically forward to the next available operator.

"As businesses grow, XMission can immediately accommodate new employees, locations, or even new divisions," said Warren Woodward, XMission’s Broadband Director. "Our services give businesses full control over calls coming in, without the hassle of managing their own hardware."

According to Woodward, XMission can often increase performance and savings for businesses that currently have their own PBX.

"There are a lot of current phone models we can support," said Woodward.
