XWi Home App / Parental Controls How To's:

Setting Default Restrictions

Start by tapping on My Network

Next tap on Default Restrictions

From here you can select various options

Content Restrictions

After tapping on Default Restrictions Tap on Content Restrictions to make adjustments

Application Restrictions

After tapping on Default Restrictions Tap Applications to set restrictions for certain apps	If this is your first time here tap OK to get started	Searching for an app will display results Here we searched for Instagram Tap on Instagram	From here you can Always allow or Block
To remove an Application Tap the X	Choose Yes or No

Website Restrictions

After tapping on Default Restrictions Tap on Websites

Type in the website you want to manage

You can choose to Block or Always Allow

Setting Personal Restrictions

You can also set up restrictions on individual people in your home. You will first want to setup People in the XWi Home App.

Setting up People

Tap on the + sign to add a new person.

Fill in a name Select any device you want to assign to this person

Now you can select one of your people

Setting Restrictions

Here you can see activity You can choose to Turn the Internet off Set Time Limits Set Personal Restrictions

After tapping on Restrictions Here you can set your restrictions

Setting Time Limits

After tapping Time Limits you will see this page If you have time limits set, you will see them here Tap the down arrow to choose the type of limit

Choose Everyday to set a time frame Choose custom to select specific days and times

Choosing custom will allow you to select specific days and times

Setting up Places

Here you can easily control internet access for devices in a location. You can also edit a Place and the list of Things that permanetly reside there.

Control Steps:

• Tap on Places you wish to control devices at
• Select a device in the list and use the slide button to enable or disable internet access.

NOTE: If the slide button is not visible the device is being controlled from a People profile.

Edit Steps:

• Select a place to edit.
• To make changes, tap the edit icon on the Places name page and do one of the following:
  • To Add more devices, tap the + Add button below the last listed device.
  • To remove devices, tap the x symbol to the right of each device to remove
• Tap the Save icon when finished.
