XMission Recommends keeping your Actiontec up to date. Read here for more info on how to update your actiontec.


  1. Launch the Autorun program from the install CD (if it does not AutoRun).
  2. Follow the instructions on the screen untill it asks you to select an ISP protocol.
  3. Select PPPoA under Please select ISP protocol.
  4. Click Next.

  5. Type your XMission username under User ID.
  6. Type your XMission password under Password.
  7. Click Next.

  8. Select Dynamic IP (DHCP).
  9. Click Next.

  10. Click Finish.

Remember, if you ever change your XMission password, you'll need to update your password in the Actiontec] as well. If you purchased a multiple IP block, you may configure it now
