Configuring
The first time you open CuteFTP you will see a
window. Fill it out as follows:- On the left hand side, click on the folder you want to save the profile in.
- Click on the button.
- In the field, enter XMission.
- In the field, enter ftp.xmission.com.
- In the field, enter your XMission account name.
- In the field, enter your XMission password.
- In the field, where the word "username" is your XMission username, enter /home/users/u/username/public_html.
- Click .

Uploading
- Open CuteFTP and connect using your profile.
- On the left side, your local system, find the folder which contains the file you wish to upload. For example, "C:\Program Files\Microsoft FrontPage\pages\".
- On the right side, the remote system, find the directory you wish to upload your page to For example, /home/users/u/username/public_html/.
- On the left side, click ONCE on the file you wish to upload to highlight it.

Downloading
- Open CuteFTP and connect using your profile.

- Click ONCE on the file you wish to download to highlight it.

Renaming
- Open CuteFTP and connect using your profile.
- On the right side, the remote system, find the folder which contains the file you wish to rename. For example, /home/users/u/username/public_html.

- Type the new name for the file in the dialog box that appears.
