- Double-click on in the Miami drawer.

- In the spaces provided, type in the modem device name and unit number. If you're using a standard serial port, the default setting should be correct.
- Click .
- In the field, enter your local XMission access number.
- From the list on the left side of the screen, select your modem.
- Click .
- Under , select .

- In the field labeled , enter your XMission account name.
- In the field labeled , enter your password.
- Uncheck .
- Click .

- In the space provided, enter your real name.
- Uncheck .
- Click .
- Double-click the icon.
