#Click <span class="button">Start</span>, go to <span class="button">Settings</span>, and select <span class="button">Control Panel</span>.

  1. Click Start, go to Settings, and select Control Panel.
  2. Double-click on Network.
  3. Select the Services tab.
  4. In the Network Services box, check for Remote Access.
  5. Click Add.
  6. Scroll down to Remote Access Service and highlight it.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Insert the Windows NT disk and click Continue.
  9. Select your modem from the menu.
  10. Click OK.
  11. Click Configure.
  12. Select Dial out only.
  13. Click OK.
  14. Click Network.
  15. Make sure TCP/IP is the only protocol selected.
  16. Click OK.
  17. Click Continue.
  18. Click Close.
  19. Click Yes to reboot your computer.
