Configuring
The first time you open Fetch you will see a
window. If it doesn't come up by itself, click on and select . Fill it out as follows:- In the field, enter ftp.xmission.com.
- In the field, enter your XMission account name.
- In the field, enter your XMission password.
- Click on to connect.
- Click on and select .
- Click on the tab.
- Next to , select .
- Next to , select .
- Uncheck .
- Click .
Uploading
- Open Fetch and connect using your profile.
- On the left, locate the directory on the remote server that you want to upload the file to. For example, /home/users/a/acctname/public_html.
- Click on the button
- Locate the file you would like to upload and select it.
- Click on .
- Make sure the is correct for the type of file you're uploading For example; .html, .txt, and .cgi files should be , and .wav, .jpg, and .gif files should be .

Downloading
- Open Fetch and connect using your profile.
- On the left, locate the file on the remote system that you want to download.
- Click
Renaming
- Open Fetch and connect using your profile.
- On the left, click on the file that you wish to rename.
- Click on .
- Select .
- Type the new name for the file.
- Click .
Deleting
- Open Fetch and connect using your profile.
- On the left, click on the file that you wish to delete.
- Click on .
- Select .

Changing Permissions
- Open Fetch and connect using your profile.
- Select the file you want to change the permissions on.
- Click on and select .
- Check or uncheck boxes to set the read, write, and execute permission on the file.
- Click
