  1. Click Start, go to Settings, and select Control Panel.
  2. Double-click on the Add/Remove Programs icon.
  3. Click on the Windows Setup tab.
  4. Double-click on Communications.
  5. Make sure that Dial-Up Networking and HyperTerminal are both checked.
  6. Click Ok, then click Ok again.
  7. When prompted, restart your computer.
