Internet Explorer

  1. Click on Tools and select Internet Options....
  2. Click on the Connections tab.
  3. If you Dial-Up to XMission select XMission in the Dial-up window pane and click Settings...
  4. If you connect with DSL click the LAN Settings... button.
  5. Check Use automatic configuration script.
  6. At this point you will need to enter the script for the appropriate proxy in the Address: field, enter http://www.xmission.com/accelerator.pac

Firefox

  1. Click on Tools and select Options.
    (On Mac OS X, select Preferences from the Firefox menu)
  2. On the General section, click on the Connection Settings button.
  3. Select Proxies.
  4. Select Automatic proxy configuration URL: and enter http://www.xmission.com/accelerator.pac in the text field.

Netscape Navigator

  1. Click on Edit and select Preferences.
  2. On the left, click on the + next to Privacy & Security to expand the options.
  3. Select Proxies.
  4. Select Automatic proxy configuration URL: and enter http://www.xmission.com/accelerator.pac

Mozilla

  1. Click on Edit and select Preferences.
  2. On the left, click on the + next to Advanced to expand the options.
  3. Select Proxies.
  4. Select Automatic proxy configuration URL: and enter http://www.xmission.com/accelerator.pac in the text field.

Safari

  1. Click on the Apple icon and select System Preferences.
  2. Click on Network.
  3. Click on the Configure button.
  4. Select the Proxies tab.
  5. Click the check box next to Web Proxy.
  6. In the text field to the right of Web Proxy enter proxy.xmission.com.
  7. In the Port text field enter in 8084
