Outlook 2000 Setup

  1. Click Tools and select Accounts.

  2. Click Add and select Mail.

  3. In the field labeled Display Name, type in the name you wish to appear on your outgoing email messages.
  4. Click Next.

  5. In the field labeled Email Address, type your XMission email address
  6. Click Next.

  7. In the field labeled Incoming mail POP3 or IMAP server:, type mail.xmission.com.
  8. In the field labeled Outgoing mail SMTP server:, type mail.xmission.com.
  9. Click Next.

  10. In the Account Name field, type your XMission username.
  11. In the Password field, type the password for your XMission account.
  12. Click Next.

  13. Select I will establish my internet connection manually, then click Next.

  14. Click Finish, then click Close.
  15. Click on Tools and select Send/Receive.

Congratulations! You should now see your Inbox. You're ready to start sending and receiving email.
