SALT LAKE CITY, UT – December 16, 2009 – XMission will roll out its new video service — XMission Video, powered and licensed by UTOPIA — on the UTOPIA network in Brigham City.

"I am very pleased to see one of the founding cities of UTOPIA receiving triple-play services using this advanced infrastructure,” said XMission President and Founder, Pete Ashdown. "Even in Salt Lake City, I have no access to the type of advanced network XMission is providing in Brigham City with UTOPIA."

“We’re thrilled to see XMission expand their offerings to include a triple-play,” say Todd Marriott, UTOPIA’s executive director. “What’s exciting is that — on a single connection on UTOPIA’s fiber-optic network — customers can add a great video product without diminishing the service they’ve come to expect from XMisson for their phone and Internet. We’re glad XMission is taking advantage of the capacity to offer the very best services to their customers.”

All customers in Brigham City who qualify for UTOPIA can bundle XMission Voice or XMission Video service with any XMission data plan on UTOPIA. XMission Video starts at $65.00 for basic service, plus installation and hardware charges. A complete triple-play bundle starts at $127.99

XMission Video includes over 230 local and national channels, including over 50 HD channels. For a limited time, new customers receive free professional installation, and one free set-top box when they sign up for XMission Video. Customers may upgrade to a DVR set-top box for an additional $200.00.

XMission Voice features include free nationwide long-distance (in the contiguous 48 states), voice mail, voice mail to email, voice mail for iPhone, call waiting, call forwarding, call blocking, 3-way calling, caller ID block, and emergency forwarding. XMission Voice service starts at $32.99.

Customers on the UTOPIA network outside Brigham City limits will not have access to UTOPIA video services through XMission at this time. All customers who qualify for data service on UTOPIA can purchase XMission Voice services, including areas outside of Brigham City.
