  1. Click Start, go to Settings, and select Control Panel.
  2. Double-click on Network.
  3. Note: If you see TCP/IP (may also say TCP/IP -> Dial-up Adapter), you will need to click once on TCP/IP and then click Remove.
  4. Click Add.
  5. Select Protocol.
  6. Click Add.
  7. On the left, below Manufacturers:, select Microsoft.
  8. On the right, below Network Protocols:, select TCP/IP.
  9. Click OK, then OK again.
    Note: You may be prompted to insert your Win95/98 disk(s).
  10. When prompted to restart, click Yes.
