Extra Large (8+ Rooms) Homes

An extra large home is often considered a home that is larger than 4,500 square feet. Most extra large homes will have more than eight unique rooms. For homes this large we recommend using a whole home mesh WiFi system. A mesh WiFi system typically has a main router that connects directly to your UTOPIA equipment. This is followed by satellite nodes or access points that you place around your house for full WiFi coverage. Together these create a single wireless network and share the same wireless name (SSID) and password.
