  1. Click Start, go to Settings, and select Control Panel.
  2. Double-click on Network.
  3. Click Add.
  4. Select Protocol.
  5. Click Add.
  6. On the left, below Manufacturers:, select Microsoft.
  7. On the right, below Network Protocols:, select TCP/IP.
  8. Click OK, then OK again.
  9. When prompted to restart, click Yes.
