Zimbra Cloud General Application Settings

These general settings will be applied to most modern email applications on desktop and mobile clients utilizing mailboxes on Zimbra Cloud.

Note to domain administrators, Zimbra Cloud requires configuration of your domain via the Admin Dashboard for your mail to work. https://admin.zimbracloud.com/domains In the Dashboard you will enter your mail domain and verify the domain by adding a TXT record to DNS. Once verified, you with then configure the additional DNS settings for MX, SPF, and DKIM.


Zimbra Cloud Mailbox Settings
Incoming Server Information: Outgoing Server Information:
Server Type: IMAP Server Type: SMTP
Hostname: mail.zimbracloud.com Hostname: mail.zimbracloud.com  
Port: 993 Port: 587
Enable encryption: YES Enable encryption: YES
Authenticate Using: Password Requires Authentication: YES
Login User Name: Full email address   Login User Name Full email address
Alternate Port: 143, 995 SSL POP3   Alternate Port: 465 (Must enable SSL)

Folders: Sent Mail = "Sent", Drafts = "Drafts", Trash = "Trash", Spam = "Junk"

iOS and Apple Mail: Server URL is https://mail.zimbracloud.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx when using the Apple "Microsoft Exchange" configuration tool
